Friday (pre-covid)

This a record of just over 10 years of monthly walks completed by a group of friends. Initially the walks started when Larry, Hilary, Jan and Mary retired from Broadlands School and were a way of keeping in touch. There were in fact several more of walks: the early ones just weren’t recorded.

The numbers on the walks increased over the years: Roger Sirett has the record for the largest number (over 30 on a Chew Magna walk) and the record for lowest (3 on a cold Ammerdown walk).

The photographs and commentary on each of the walks provide a great memory of good walks and enjoyable company in varied and interesting landscapes.
