This walk is largely based on Walk 17 from Twenty Circular Walks in and around Timsbury.
It starts by heading from Meadgate across the fields to Stoneage Lane and on to Withyditch. Then we cross the line of the Somerset Coal Canal and the Bristol & North Somerset Line that replaced it on the way down to Dunkerton.
At Dunkerton we start the return journey along the Cam Brook just up to Splott Farm. We then head uphill to Carlingcott and on to Camerton Park and Court.
Finally we return to Timsbury via the former Camerton New Pit.
