- West Harptree is situated on the A368. Driving time from Timsbury is approximately 20 minutes.
- The walk is 6.6 miles long.
- When the route was tested there were only a few muddy spots.
- The route is over fields, paths, woodland, bridle paths and lanes.
- There is a gradual uppity bit at the beginning of the walk.
