There was to have been a walk around the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from the Blackmoor Reserve car park but wet weather put paid to that.

Instead, while the rest of the group drove to the Soap Bar, Brenda and I walked the route given here.

There was to have been a walk either around Bathford or Compton Martin but the prospect of Storm Ciarán put paid to that. That was to have been replaced by a town walk around Radstock & Midsomer Norton along the Norton Radstock Greenway but the forecasts of wind & rain meant that didn’t happen either.
