The next walk is being organised by Fred and Fiona and will take place on FRIDAY 7 JULY. It will start at The New Inn, Cross. We’ll meet at 0915 for a 0930 start.

Fred and Fiona have provided the following information about the walk:
- Cross is about 45 minutes drive from Timsbury
- Parking is at The New Inn, Cross.
- The walk is 6 miles long
- There are wonderful views along much of the walk
- There are 6 stiles, but only 3 need to be climbed as there are convenient gates at the others.
- There are several ‘uppity bits’.
- There are no particularly difficult muddy bits
- There are no cafes or loos en route
- There will be opportunities for Frankie Howerd impersonations!
- There is some continuity from the Isle of Purbeck Away Day as there is a tank trap and examples of dry valleys!
