C of All Saints, Hampstead, 1874-7, Chaplain at Simla, 1877. Archdeacon of Lahore, 1887-88. Bishop of Lahore, 1888-1898. Married, Nov. 29 1866, Julia Elizabeth Browne, and had issue. Died Dec 2, 1898, in Lahore Cathedral, whilst in the act of celebrating Communion.
