    "Argent on a band sable three flower de liz or on a cleif of the second a lyon pafsan of the third. Andfor his crest on a helmet and crown murall or a demi Lyonrampant sable holding a flower de liz or. Mantled gules double Argent: as m the margent is more finely depicted."

     Motto Virtute non Sanguine appears on grant of arms 1666.


    Arms inspected by visitation to Gloucester 1oth August 1682 "fees for allowing the arms and entering the pedigree £1.7.0"



    They seem to have been connected with Cocks of Castleditch, though spelling their name differently.
